The reason we did This & Are the best
The story of the Golden Antlers is long, rich, illustrious, and most importantly, almost completely lost to our current generation of writers, editors, and do-nothing layabouts. All we have are the remnants of an ever-changing cohort of Claremont’s finest comedic minds. Which is to say, we have had a lot of turnover, and until two years ago with the singular effort of one neurotic editor, our record-keeping was basically nonexistent. Seriously, our first staff list was made in the summer of ’25, thirteen years after HIGHLY LEGAL incorporation in 2012. That establishment date is itself an interesting piece of trivia that we barely hold onto in the form of oral history.
That being said, we will last a thousand years, and that is our promise to us. These records will stand the test of time. When you go to your grave, someone on our staff will be writing about it. For all other purposes, please enjoy our archive! There aren’t many satirical publications at The Claremont Colleges, except for our crosstown rival, The Claremont Institute, so it is our hope with this that some measure of ephemeral nothingness. Fart!
