Uh oh! CMC men are officially mad about Roberts Pavilion closing for recreational use because it is hosting the NCAA Division III Women’s Volleyball Championships.
“This is an attack on the men of this campus,” one male CMCer says. “I mean, were women even, like, in the gym to begin with? I generally try to make sure they know I don’t want them in there.”
“A huge part of my social life has been disrupted,” another complains. “How am I supposed to bench one set and put it on my story now?”
When asked about what the S in CMS Athletics stands for, both interviewees confidently answered: “stags.” When asked about the M, they answered: “men.” The C: “CMC.”
It’s worth noting the menw ere sporting the CMC’s Retro Collection, wearing shirts that said, “stop co-ed,” “Claremont Men’s College is for men, that is what CMC stands for, dumbass,” and “CMC Men Stags College.”
