It’s Fine, I Only Use AI to Think

People keep acting like I am a lazy, good-for-nothing, sack of bricks, idiot just because I use AI. I use it, sure, but not for everything—only to think. They just say things like “it’s making people stupider” or “it’s destroying education” or “can you not do that for our group project? It’s plagiarism.”

Maybe some people use AI “too much.” But not everyone uses AI in a bad way. I can still write and send an email without help (I don’t, but I could). I don’t use AI art except to make porns of Zootopia characters (I wish I didn’t have to, but someone must). I have never even had AI write a birthday card for my girlfriend (I used it for ideas but I wrote it myself)!

I use it for one thing, and somehow that is wrong? (a)I don’t think so.

Here’s why my use of AI is okay.

⏰ Time Management and Productivity

  • Efficient Use of Time—Thinking takes a lot of work, energy, and time. Having AI think for you eliminates that waste and gives you more time to have an opinion rather than come up with one.
  • Bigger Capacity to Learn—AI allows you to have as many opinions as possible without having to spend time understanding each one.
  • Frees Up Time for Hobbies—Without having to think for yourself, there is much more time for hobbies: watching Reels, scrolling on X, getting head, getting head while watching Reels and scrolling on X, or, if you are feeling crazy (and that cookie good!)… giving head, or giving head while watching Reels and scrolling on X. (Or X-ing on X about how narsty it is to give head to a lady!)

✅ 🌈 Accuracy and Creativity

  • Eliminates Human Error—Humans make mistakes in all areas of their life, thinking included. Hiding behind “subjectivity” to excuse wrong opinions is objectionable and immature, especially when you have access to something that can think for you, and do it better.
  • Better at Hallucination—People often discredit AI for “hallucinating” but the truth is that everybody hallucinates, and AI has better control over it than we do.
  • Imaginative—Critical thinking and creativity are both driven, to an extent, by imagination. The imagination of something different or an idea you had not yet considered. AI is fantastic at this. It dreams and imagines constantly and seamlessly incorporates this into its thought process.

🗣️ Communication and Community

  • Evangelization—Using time to think takes away from the time you have to share what you think. It reduces the amount of time you have to tell everyone what you (AI) think and that you are right.
  • Human Connection—Humans need each other and when we spend all of our time individually thinking, we lose the space to just exist together with no thoughts in our head.
  • Groupthink—People often say mean things about groupthink, but sometimes it is very useful. There is no greater community than one that agrees on everything. Most conflict boils down to different ways of thinking which is entirely avoidable.
